The Bellini Chair - Set of 6

The Bellini Chair - Set of 6

Date 1998 | Mario Bellini In 1998, we placed six Bellini Chairs in an all-white, 50-foot-long booth at the annual Salone furniture fair in Milan. We knew this modern indoor-outdoor chair was something special and deserved a striking debut – and to say we stole the show would be an understatement. Everyone who walked by stopped to admire the sleek, sculptural lines. Some asked if there’s a metal frame hidden inside (there isn’t). But the most striking response was when the owner of a leading furniture retailer saw it and stopped the presses on his catalog to add the Bellini Chair to its cover. Today, the Bellini continues to impress. Exceptionally comfortable with a slightly flexible back, this sturdy, stackable, lightweight chair is tough enough to withstand use in a busy restaurant and elegant enough to flatter a sophisticated studio or home. This chair earned celebrated Italian architect and designer Mario Bellini his eighth Compasso d’Oro award in 2001. Bellini resides in the design collections of many museums worldwide. Made in USA, this indoor-outdoor chair is stackable up to six high.

Dr.No chair kartell Philippe Starck ( 8 pieces)

Dr.No chair kartell Philippe Starck ( 8 pieces)

The Dr. No armchair was designed by Philippe Starck for the Kartell brand. Philippe Starck is one of France's leading designers. If you are at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, you can admire much of his oeuvre in the permanent collection. In 1998, he created this timelessly charming Dr. No armchair, which still captivates many hearts. Available in a variety of tasteful shades, the Dr. No armchair is notable for the beautiful visual contrast between the sleek legs of aluminum and the flowing forms of the polypropylene seat shell. Being able to see the top of the rear legs adds to the striking appearance of this iconic design classic. Named after the very first official James Bond film, the Dr. No armchair has a seat height of 46.5 cm and a weight of only 4 kg. This chair is stackable to a height of four. The sleek aluminum legs are slightly apart, giving your chair great stability. Under the legs, plastic protective caps ensure that your floor remains undamaged. The polypropylene from which the seat shell is made is easy to clean and resistant to varying weather conditions. This makes the Dr. No armchair suitable for indoor as well as outdoor use. This chair has a width of 54 cm and a depth of 50 cm.
